Aubrey Eastyn

When I was younger, I competed against athletes around the United States as a Junior Olympic springboard diver. Competition, training, and practice was my life for years, helping me learn how to deal with rivalries, make friendships, be a part of a team, face challenges, and be a leader.

Although diving and other athletics such as water polo were a major role in shaping me to be who I am today, I always had an interest for communications and digital media projects. From editing my own and other diver’s videos to interviewing high-ranked professionals, I always kept my interest for journalism and communicating with others. Consequently, I chose to attend the University of Florida to strengthen my passion for writing, journalism, and communication. 

I graduated from the University of Florida magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations along with a minor in sociology. While my devotion to communications and media is still fierce, before graduation, I decided that my career path was steering me in a different direction. 

Following graduation from university, I was accepted into law school. I currently attend the Shepard Broad College of Law at Nova Southeastern University, where I am pursuing my Juris Doctor degree. While my career choice has continued my education, I still am dedicated to communications and media, where I wish to specialize in the areas of intellectual property, social media, and online privacy law.

In the time that I have to myself, I enjoy writing, photography, building relationships with others, and the occasional movie break and film review in-between. In the future, I hope to practice as an attorney at law, develop my photography skills, progress and improve myself as a writer, and review films that I view throughout the years.
